1994年畢業(yè)于日本國立愛媛大學,獲博士學位。
1994年4月-2001年9月在日本的大學及公司研究機構工作了7年半。
2001年10月進入上海交通大學環(huán)境科學與工程學院工作。

中國環(huán)境科學學會水環(huán)境分會常務理事,日本環(huán)境生態(tài)學會會員,《應用基礎與工程科學學報》(EI)編委。主要從事水處理中的吸附與離子交換技術、河湖環(huán)境生態(tài)工程等方面的研究工作,完成的研究課題近二十項。2002年后主持的科研項目有:國家科技部“十五”863計劃(2項)、973計劃(1項)、環(huán)保部(2項)、上海市科委(1項)、中日國際合作項目(筑波大學和京都大學各1項)。國內外以中、日、英文發(fā)表論文百余篇。申請獲得國家發(fā)明專利15項(已獲授權10項)。
