博士生導(dǎo)師 中國(guó)科學(xué)院“百人計(jì)劃”入選者 國(guó)家杰出青年基金獲得者
現(xiàn)任環(huán)境水質(zhì)學(xué)國(guó)家重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室主任，中國(guó)生態(tài)學(xué)會(huì)微生物專業(yè)委員會(huì)主任，國(guó)際水協(xié)會(huì)（IWA）大會(huì)程序委員會(huì)委員，法國(guó)蘇伊士環(huán)境公司戰(zhàn)略咨詢委員會(huì)（FAC）委員。
研究領(lǐng)域包括微生物生態(tài)技術(shù)、飲用水安全保障技術(shù)以及工業(yè)廢水處理及無(wú)害化技術(shù)。注重研究與實(shí)際的結(jié)合，與產(chǎn)業(yè)界有較為密切的合作。
主要研究方向是水中有害物質(zhì)的識(shí)別與控制技術(shù)。
目前承擔(dān)的項(xiàng)目包括國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金、973課題和科技部國(guó)際合作課題以及多個(gè)企業(yè)合作課題。2004年和2006年分獲北京市和國(guó)家科技進(jìn)步二等獎(jiǎng)各一項(xiàng)。已培養(yǎng)碩、博士研究生近40名。近5年來(lái)發(fā)表論文近100篇（其中SCI論文近50篇），申請(qǐng)發(fā)明專利10余項(xiàng)。
招生專業(yè)：環(huán)境微生物/環(huán)境工程。歡迎有較強(qiáng)生物、化學(xué)、或數(shù)學(xué)基礎(chǔ)的其他專業(yè)學(xué)生報(bào)考。
