中國建筑學(xué)會(huì)（The Architectural Society of China）是全國建筑科學(xué)技術(shù)工作者組成的學(xué)術(shù)性團(tuán)體，主管單位為中國科學(xué)技術(shù)協(xié)會(huì)、住房和城鄉(xiāng)建設(shè)部。

 

學(xué)會(huì)于1953年10月23日成立。著名建筑專家梁思成、楊廷寶先生歷任本會(huì)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人。學(xué)會(huì)第一屆理事會(huì)有很多理事是來自中國營造學(xué)社的成員，學(xué)會(huì)集中了中國建筑界各專業(yè)最優(yōu)秀的專家、學(xué)者和工程技術(shù)人員，成為政府推進(jìn)城鄉(xiāng)建設(shè)最可靠的智囊和助手。

 

學(xué)會(huì)以推進(jìn)中國建筑文化的大發(fā)展大繁榮為中心，貫徹科教興國和可持續(xù)發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略，團(tuán)結(jié)和組織全國廣大建筑科技工作者，堅(jiān)持“百花齊放，百家爭鳴”的方針，倡導(dǎo)嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)、求實(shí)的學(xué)風(fēng)，促進(jìn)建筑科學(xué)技術(shù)的進(jìn)步和發(fā)展、普及和推廣，促進(jìn)科技人才的成長和提高，為我國城鄉(xiāng)建設(shè)事業(yè)服務(wù)。

 

學(xué)會(huì)堅(jiān)持“學(xué)術(shù)追求、行業(yè)引領(lǐng)、政府助手、會(huì)員之家”的辦會(huì)宗旨，主要任務(wù)包括：開展建筑理論研究和實(shí)踐經(jīng)驗(yàn)交流；組織國際科技合作與交流；編輯出版科技書刊；展覽展示；普及科學(xué)知識(shí)，推廣先進(jìn)技術(shù)；開展繼續(xù)教育和技術(shù)培訓(xùn)工作；舉薦和獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)優(yōu)秀科技成果與人才；為行業(yè)發(fā)展提供政策與技術(shù)咨詢；反映會(huì)員的意見和要求；辦好會(huì)員之家，為廣大會(huì)員和工程技術(shù)人員服務(wù)。

 

學(xué)會(huì)理事會(huì)現(xiàn)設(shè)立四個(gè)工作委員會(huì)，學(xué)會(huì)下設(shè)五十五個(gè)二級組織。

 

學(xué)會(huì)現(xiàn)有個(gè)人會(huì)員10萬余人，包括會(huì)員、資深會(huì)員、名譽(yù)會(huì)員、學(xué)生會(huì)員、外籍會(huì)員；現(xiàn)有團(tuán)體會(huì)員一千多家。本會(huì)委托地方學(xué)會(huì)協(xié)助發(fā)展會(huì)員，并實(shí)行屬地管理。

 

學(xué)會(huì)編輯出版的刊物有《建筑學(xué)報(bào)》、《建筑結(jié)構(gòu)學(xué)報(bào)》、《建筑實(shí)踐》等，與日本建筑學(xué)會(huì)、韓國建筑學(xué)會(huì)聯(lián)合編輯出版國際刊物《亞洲建筑與建筑工程》。學(xué)會(huì)設(shè)有“梁思成建筑獎(jiǎng)”、“建筑設(shè)計(jì)獎(jiǎng)”、“中國建筑學(xué)會(huì)科技進(jìn)步獎(jiǎng)”三個(gè)獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)，以表彰和鼓勵(lì)國際、國內(nèi)建筑界工程技術(shù)人員的工作和貢獻(xiàn)。

 

學(xué)會(huì)現(xiàn)有的品牌活動(dòng)有中國建筑學(xué)會(huì)學(xué)術(shù)年會(huì)、鄭州國際城市設(shè)計(jì)大會(huì)、建筑設(shè)計(jì)博覽會(huì)、威海國際人居節(jié)、亞洲建筑國際交流會(huì)等。

 

中國建筑學(xué)會(huì)于1955年以國家會(huì)員身份加入了國際建筑師協(xié)會(huì)（UIA），1989年以國家會(huì)員身份加入了亞洲建筑師協(xié)會(huì)（ARCASIA）。學(xué)會(huì)與英國、美國、日本、俄羅斯、韓國、匈牙利、波蘭、捷克、蒙古、巴西、白俄羅斯等國家和地區(qū)的相關(guān)組織建立了學(xué)術(shù)交流和友好合作關(guān)系。此外，學(xué)會(huì)與中國香港、中國澳門、中國臺(tái)灣地區(qū)的相關(guān)組織保持著密切溝通和交流 。

Architectural Society of China is a national academic institute constituted by the professionals of architectural science and technology in China. It is the member institute of China Association for Science and Technology and closely related by profession to the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.

 

ASC was founded on 23 October 1953. Mr. Liang Sicheng, Mr. Yang Tingbao and other famous Chinese architects assumed the leadership in the following years. Many members present at the first Council Meeting are from the Society for the Study of Chinese Architecture. ASC convenes the most outstanding experts, scholars and engineering technicians of the architectural field in China, and becomes the reliable think-tank and assistant to the government in promoting the urban and rural development. 

 

The objective of ASC is to promote the development and prosperity of the Chinese architectural culture, implement the state strategy of invigorating the country through science, technology and education as well as the strategy of sustainable development, unite and organize all professionals of architectural field in China, insists on the policy of “letting a hundred flowers blossom and a hundred schools of thought contend”, encourage the academic attitude of seriousness and matter-of -fact, promote the blossom and development of the architectural science and technology as well as its popularization and generalization, promote the growth and progress of the professional talents, serve the national urban and rural construction development.

 

ASC defines its development strategy by adhering to “Pursuit of Academic Excellence, Pioneer in Industry Development, Assistant to Government and Home for Members”. The main task of ASC is to develop the architectural theoretical research and the practice experience exchange, conduct international cooperation and exchanges, edit and publish scientific and technical magazines and books, organize exhibitions, popularize the scientific knowledge and promote the advanced technology, provide the continued professional development and training service, recommend and honor the outstanding achievements and talents, provide policy and technical consultancy for the industry development, reflect members’ opinions and requirements, serve members and all engineering technicians as a home of all members.

 

ASC Council comprises 4 working committees and there are 55 sub- institutes under the umbrella of ASC.

 

ASC has over 100,000 individual members including members, fellows, honorary members, student members and correspondence members, and also has over 1000 corporation members. ASC entrusts its sub-institutes and local chapters to assist for admitting members and practices dependency administration.

 

The periodicals published by ASC are: Architectural Journal, Journal of Building Structures and Architectural Practice. ASC also published Journal of Asian Architecture and Building Engineering (JAABE) with Architectural Institute of Japan (AIJ) and Architectural Institute of Korea (AIK). In order to commend and encourage the work and contribution of the architectural engineering professionals from China and around the world, ASC awards three prizes, namely Liang Sicheng Architecture Prize, Architectural Design Award and ASC Science and Technology Progress Award.

 

Flagship events of ASC include: ASC Annual Conference, International Urban Design Conference, China Architecture Design Exhibition (CADE), Weihai International Habitat Festival, International Symposium on Architectural Interchange in Asia etc.

 

ASC joined in the International Union of Architects (UIA) as a national section in 1955 and joined in the Architects Regional Council of Asia (ARCASIA) as a national member in 1989. ASC established and maintained academic exchanges and friendly cooperative relationship with relevant organizations in the UK, the US, Japan, Russia, Republic of Korea, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Mongolia, Brazil, Belarus, etc. ASC also communicated closely with architectural institutes in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, China.  

 

The ASC Secretariat is located in Beijing and is composed of General Department, Academic Department, International Department, Membership Department, Science Popularization Department, Finance Department, Architectural Education and Accreditation Work Office, Science and Technology Consulting Center, Editorial Department of Architectural Journal, Editorial Department of Journal of Building Structures, Editorial Department of Architectural Practice and ASC Science and Technology Training Center.
